This song was written for a woman that Roman saw through a clear glass window when he was sitting in a chair looking outside. They were both in downtown Houston, Texas, sometime around the early years of the millennium. The song Beautiful marks a turning point for Roman and the band as they use the bridge of the song as a method and means to practice singing harmonies acapella, or unaccompanied.
