Music - Release

Roman wrote this song in the 70’s after he heard the Prelude to Billy Joel’s Angry Young Man. Roman wanted to figure out how to play the hammering technique by listening to the album. Then he found sheet music to read. Some years later he saw Billy play live. Roman watched Billy delicately fly over the keys. Roman carried his own hammering technique forward, which many years later he rehearsed at top speed with his band in Lagos and then developed a more moderate version in Bangkok.
